Hotel Kastil - Bol

We really enjoyed the amazing breakfast spread every morning, especially the fresh fruits and grilled vegetables. However, our room was a bit snug and lacked a cozy lounge area, which we missed.

Comfy and fantastic room and bathroom with a bathtub. Beds were lovely and the breakfast was delicious and exceptionally nice! Great and unbeatable location a short way from a local winery. Nice restaurant and fantastic service. Fabulous staff and altogether an awesome experience.

The location put you right in the heart of everything, with easy access to beaches and great views of the Adriatic. The buffet breakfast offered a fantastic range of fresh options and you could enjoy it on a scenic patio overlooking the water.

Inconsistent air conditioning performance didn't quite match the summer heat, and the noise from the nearby restaurant's live music went on until midnight, which could be bothersome for light sleepers.

The staff was very nice and the people in the reception-desk had always time to chat and give good information. The cleaning in the room was perfect.

The beds were realy hard.

The location is unbeatable, just a short stroll to the main beach and perfectly situated near local restaurants. I loved sipping my morning coffee on the balcony with fine sea views, and the easy access to the harbor was a major plus.

Navigating the narrow stairs to the higher floors with luggage can be quite challenging.

Rooms are comfortable, breakfast is good, location is excellent - 20- 30min walk to the famous beach, close to supermarkets, atms, banks, restaurants. Alternatively, there is a water taxi which costs 10 kuna (less than $2) to the beach which departs from port literally one minute walk away from the hotel.

Bed sheets provided do not cover the entire double bed - instead they give 2 single sheets which is very uncomfortable. Hotel took passport upon check in and did not give back to me when I paid on the 4th day. Of course after 4 days I had forgotton about this and left without it - I did manage to get it back quite quickly in Split. However, in 4 months of travelling, every hotel I stayed out filled out the form/or had me fill out the form at check in and gave me the passport back immediately.

The location was perfect, and we loved the buffet breakfast with options like fresh pastries and pancakes. Enjoyed dinner at Pizzeria Topolino and caught some live music on the way. Rooms were clean and staff were friendly.

We had some issues with the air conditioning not working in one of our rooms. It was quite hot, and we had to ask for help a few times.

Very nice place with a wonderfull terrace just above the harbor. The ideal for having breakfast! Excelent accommodation. Very good location. a really nice place!

The location is unbeatable, right by the water and within walking distance of local attractions. The buffet breakfast was good, with fresh pastries, cheeses, and eggs cooked to order-best enjoyed on the patio with sea views. Noise from nearby restaurants could be disruptive at night.

Renovated house with confortable rooms and beautiful views. Despite beeing situated on the main walking root of Bol and aside several bars and restasurants, the roms are quite and silent. Good breakfast.

Situation

Extremely noisy restaurant terrace 5m windows. Some rooms are invaded by smoke grill 2 m below and ashes found on sheet of bed !!!!... a nightmare .... hospitality means seeing very poor. A highly recommended.
